Modification of MRL Regulation 2022/1435

EU Regulation 2022/1435 has been published in the Official Journal and amends the MRLs for calcium carbonate, carbon dioxide, cyprodinil and potassium hydrogen carbonate.

The Authority indicated that no MRLs are required for calcium carbonate, carbon dioxide and potassium hydrogen carbonate. They are therefore included in Annex IV of Regulation (EC) No 396/2015.

The MRL for cyprodinil on soybeans has been increased from 0.02mg/kg to 0.3 mg/kg in line with the new Codex Maximum Residue Limit (CXL) adopted on 14 December 2021 by the Codex Alimentarius Commission.

The regulation enters into force on 19/09/22.
