{"id":10587,"date":"2019-10-02T10:43:44","date_gmt":"2019-10-02T08:43:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/?p=10587"},"modified":"2019-10-02T10:43:44","modified_gmt":"2019-10-02T08:43:44","slug":"publication-eu-regulation-2019-1561-changes-in-mrls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/en\/regulatory-watch\/publication-eu-regulation-2019-1561-changes-in-mrls\/","title":{"rendered":"Publication EU Regulation 2019\/1561 &#8211; Changes in MRLs"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"hover_box\"><div class=\"hover_box_wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid visible_photo\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Pleurotes.png\" alt=\"Publication EU Regulation 2019\/1561 &#8211; Changes in MRLs\" width=\"\" height=\"\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid hidden_photo\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/actu_publication-rasff-2016_02.jpg\" alt=\"Publication EU Regulation 2019\/1561 &#8211; Changes in MRLs\" width=\"\" height=\"\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32019R1561&amp;qid=1568906623141&amp;from=FR\">Regulation (EU) 2019\/1561<\/a> amending Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005 was published in the OJEU on 18\/09\/19.<\/p>\n<p>This regulation modifies the MRL for chlormequat residues in oyster mushrooms.<\/p>\n<p>A temporary MRL was set at 0.9 mg\/kg for sleeping fungi, as monitoring data showed the presence of chlormequat residues on untreated sleeping fungi at concentrations above the limit of determination, which may result from cross-contamination between untreated sleeping fungi and straw treated with chlormequat in a completely legal manner.<\/p>\n<p>Recent monitoring data specific to oyster mushrooms indicate that residues of chlormequat are present in oyster mushrooms at concentrations above the temporary MRL for cultivated mushrooms.<\/p>\n<p>It was therefore agreed to set the MRL for chlormequat for oyster mushrooms at <strong>6 mg\/kg<\/strong> and to maintain the existing MRL for other mushrooms at <strong>0.9 mg\/kg.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This regulation is applicable as of 08\/10\/2019.<\/p>\n<p>For any technical, pricing or regulatory information, do not hesitate to contact us.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Regulation (EU) 2019\/1561 amending Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005 was published in the OJEU on 18\/09\/19.
