{"id":10917,"date":"2019-11-07T16:27:17","date_gmt":"2019-11-07T15:27:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/?p=10917"},"modified":"2019-11-07T16:27:17","modified_gmt":"2019-11-07T15:27:17","slug":"publication-eu-regulation-2019-1791-and-2019-1792-changes-in-mrls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/en\/regulatory-watch\/publication-eu-regulation-2019-1791-and-2019-1792-changes-in-mrls\/","title":{"rendered":"Publication EU Regulation 2019\/1791 and 2019\/1792 &#8211; Changes in MRLs"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"hover_box\"><div class=\"hover_box_wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid visible_photo\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Brocoli.png\" alt=\"Publication EU Regulation 2019\/1791 and 2019\/1792 &#8211; Changes in MRLs\" width=\"\" height=\"\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid hidden_photo\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/actu_publication-rasff-2016_02.jpg\" alt=\"Publication EU Regulation 2019\/1791 and 2019\/1792 &#8211; Changes in MRLs\" width=\"\" height=\"\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Regulations (EU)<a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32019R1791&amp;qid=1573038910270&amp;from=FR\"> 2019\/1791<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32019R1792&amp;qid=1573038961948&amp;from=FR\">2019\/1792<\/a> amending Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005 were published in the OJEU.<\/p>\n<p>These regulations modify the MRLs for several pesticide residues in foodstuffs.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Regulation 2019\/1791: this regulation introduces the following changes to MRLs:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The MRL for cyprodinil on fennel was reduced from 0.3 mg\/kg to <strong>4 mg\/kg.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The MRL for fludioxonil on fennel was increased from 0.05 mg\/kg to <strong>1.5 mg\/kg.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The MRL for fluopyram on broccoli was increased from 0.3 mg\/kg to <strong>0.4 mg\/kg.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The MRL for trifloxystrobin on broccoli was increased from 0.5 mg\/kg to <strong>0.6 mg\/kg.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The MRL for pyridaben on tomatoes and aubergines has been reduced from<strong> 0.05 mg\/kg<\/strong> to <strong>0.15 mg\/kg.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>An MRL of <strong>0.02 mg\/kg<\/strong> was set for florpyrauxifen benzyl in rice. This MRL takes into account the representative use on rice under Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in the Union.<\/p>\n<p>A specific MRL of <strong>0.7 mg\/kg<\/strong> applies for <strong>oyster mushrooms<\/strong>. The MRL at 0.09 mg\/kg is maintained for the other cultivated mushrooms. According to monitoring data, cross-contamination between untreated cultivated mushrooms and straw treated with legal mepiquat may occur.<\/p>\n<p>This Regulation is applicable from 18\/11\/19.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Regulation 2019\/1792 :<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The MRLs for the following active substances have been set at the level of the applicable limit of determination (LOD) taking into account:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; the non-renewal of the approval of the active substances&#8217;amitrole&#8217;,&#8217;flupyrsulfuron-methyl&#8217;,&#8217;isoproturon&#8217; and&#8217;triasulfuron&#8217;,<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; the expiry of the approval of the active substances&#8217;fipronil&#8217; and&#8217;imazosulfuron&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; the non-approval of the active substance&#8217;orthosulfamuron<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This regulation is applicable as of 18\/05\/2020.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For any technical, pricing or regulatory information, do not hesitate to contact us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Regulations (EU) 2019\/1791 and 2019\/1792 amending Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005 were published in the OJEU.
