{"id":14489,"date":"2020-01-27T09:46:55","date_gmt":"2020-01-27T08:46:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/exgdete.cluster028.hosting.ovh.net\/?p=14489"},"modified":"2020-01-27T09:46:57","modified_gmt":"2020-01-27T08:46:57","slug":"ban-on-5-neonicotinoids-in-france-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/en\/regulatory-watch\/ban-on-5-neonicotinoids-in-france-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Ban on 5 Neonicotinoids in France"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"hover_box\"><div class=\"hover_box_wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid visible_photo\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/BEES-700-400.jpg\" alt=\"Ban on 5 Neonicotinoids in France\" width=\"\" height=\"\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid hidden_photo\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/drapeau_france.jpg\" alt=\"Ban on 5 Neonicotinoids in France\" width=\"\" height=\"\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/eli\/decret\/2018\/7\/30\/TREP1705062D\/jo\/texte\">Decree No. 2018-675<\/a> of 30 July 2018 on the definition of active substances of the neonicotinoid family present in plant protection products was recently published.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This text is addressed to manufacturers of active plant protection substances, producers and users of plant protection products and seeds treated with such products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Five neonicotinoid substances are banned:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Acetamiprid<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Clothianidin<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Imidachloprid<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Thiacloprid<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Thiamethoxam<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/eli\/loi\/2016\/8\/8\/DEVL1400720L\/jo\">Biodiversity Act 2016<\/a>: &#8220;The use of plant protection products containing an active substance or substances of the neonicotinoid family and seeds treated with such products shall be prohibited from 1 September 2018. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As from 01\/09\/2018, the use of plant protection products containing one of these substances is prohibited for uses which are not subject to a derogation by ministerial order, in accordance with Article L. 253-8 of the Rural and Maritime Fisheries Code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Derogations from the ban may be granted until 1 July 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that our laboratory carries out the analysis of these five substances under COFRAC accreditation (Scope N\u00b01-1904 available on the COFRAC website).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For any technical, pricing and\/or regulatory information, please do not hesitate to contact us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Decree No. 2018-675 of 30 July 2018 on the definition of active substances of the neonicotinoid family present in plant protection products was recently published.
