The current situation, where chlorate residues are\ndetectable in food, results from these uses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EFSA recognized that it is currently not\npossible, despite the use of good practice, to achieve residue levels of\nchlorate that comply with the default MRL of 0,01 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In accordance with the ALARA (as low as\nreasonably achievable) principle, provisional MRLs were therefore set for\nchlorate taking account of these uses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These MRLs apply from 28\/06\/2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that our laboratory carries out\nthe analysis of chlorates under COFRAC accreditation (Scope N\u00b01-1904 available\non the COFRAC website).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do not hesitate to contact our customer\nservice dedicated line +33 800 900 775 or by email\nservice-clients@phytocontrol.com.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Regulation (EU) 2020\/749 on maximum residue levels for chlorate has just been published in the OJEU.
