It is therefore important to check the truthfulness of the\nregulatory statements &#8220;gluten-free&#8221; and &#8220;low gluten&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32014R0828&amp;qid=1598449336209&amp;from=FR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Regulation 828\/2014<\/a> defines the labelling thresholds for these terms:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Gluten-free:\nthe food sold to the final consumer does not contain more than 20 mg\/kg of\ngluten.<\/li><li>Low gluten\ncontent: the food sold to the final consumer does not contain more than 100\nmg\/kg of gluten.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>10% of the samples\ntaken by the DGCCRF were found to be non-compliant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigators also\nnoted the use of other unregulated terms to meet the demand of non-coeliac\nconsumers wishing to limit the place of gluten in their diet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that our\nlaboratory is able to detect and quantify gluten under COFRAC accreditation\n(Scope N\u00b01-1904 available on the COFRAC website).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Need technical, regulatory and pricing information ?
