{"id":27695,"date":"2022-08-10T10:23:00","date_gmt":"2022-08-10T08:23:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/?p=27695"},"modified":"2022-08-30T10:26:14","modified_gmt":"2022-08-30T08:26:14","slug":"publication-of-regulations-eu-2022-1363-and-2022-1364-amending-mrls-and-maximum-levels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/en\/regulatory-watch\/publication-of-regulations-eu-2022-1363-and-2022-1364-amending-mrls-and-maximum-levels\/","title":{"rendered":"Publication of Regulations (EU) 2022\/1363 and 2022\/1364 amending MRLs and maximum levels"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"hover_box\"><div class=\"hover_box_wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid visible_photo\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/fruitslegumes.png\" alt=\"Publication of Regulations (EU) 2022\/1363 and 2022\/1364 amending MRLs and maximum levels\" width=\"\" height=\"\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid hidden_photo\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/actu_publication-rasff-2016_02.jpg\" alt=\"Publication of Regulations (EU) 2022\/1363 and 2022\/1364 amending MRLs and maximum levels\" width=\"\" height=\"\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two new regulations have just been published in the OJEU (Official Journal Of the European Union)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX%3A32022R1363&amp;qid=1659691776295\">Regulation (EU) 2022\/1363<\/a> amending the MRLs for <strong>2,4-D, azoxystrobin, cyhalofop-butyl, cymoxanil, fenhexamid, flazasulfuron, florasulam, fluroxypyr, iprovalicarb and silthiofam.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u00a0<strong>Azoxystrobin <\/strong>:<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>MRLs on lettuce and salad have been lowered to 10 mg\/kg instead of 15 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>\u00a0Cymoxanil :<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>MRLs on grapes have been lowered to 0.05 mg\/kg from 0.3 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MRLs on spinach have been lowered to 0.9 mg\/kg from 1 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MRLs on dried pulses have been lowered to 0.01 mg\/kg instead of 0.05 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Iprovalicarb <\/strong>:<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>MRLs on lettuce, broad-leaf endive\/endives and rocket have been lowered to 0.01 mg\/kg from 0.8 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the other molecules, the MRLs have been maintained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Article 2 of the Regulation specifies that the former MRLs continue to apply to products produced in or imported into the Union before 25 February 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Regulation will apply on <strong>25\/02\/23.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX%3A32022R1364&amp;qid=1659693768483\">Regulation (EU) 2022\/1364<\/a><\/strong> on maximum levels for hydrocyanic acid.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Hydrocyanic acid is a very toxic substance. This substance is not present in foodstuffs at toxicologically relevant levels but is released during chewing or processing of foodstuffs containing cyanogenic glycosides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To date, Regulation 2017\/1237 set maximum levels only in apricot kernels at 20 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new regulation sets new limits on the following matrices: linseed, almonds, fresh cassava roots, cassava flour and tapioca flour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below are the maximum levels set for the new regulated matrices:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These new levels will be applicable as of <strong>01\/01\/23.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that your Phytocontrol laboratory offers pesticide residue analysis under COFRAC accreditation.
