{"id":29739,"date":"2023-06-01T08:01:18","date_gmt":"2023-06-01T06:01:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/?p=29739"},"modified":"2023-06-20T08:02:02","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T06:02:02","slug":"3-new-regulations-amending-mrls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/en\/regulatory-watch\/3-new-regulations-amending-mrls\/","title":{"rendered":"3 new regulations amending MRLs"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"hover_box\"><div class=\"hover_box_wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid visible_photo\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/herbe_aromatique.png\" alt=\"3 new regulations amending MRLs\" width=\"\" height=\"\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid hidden_photo\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/actu_publication-rasff-2016_02.jpg\" alt=\"3 new regulations amending MRLs\" width=\"\" height=\"\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EC regulation no. 396\/2005 has just been amended by 3 new regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX%3A32023R1029&amp;qid=1685517927758\"><strong>EU Regulation 2023\/1029<\/strong><\/a><strong> :<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The MRLs for <strong>phosmet <\/strong>and the definition of residue have been amended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For all products, the MRLs are set at the level of the limits of determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current residue definition (Phosmet (phosmet and phosmet oxone, expressed as phosmet)) will be changed to &#8220;phosmet&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulation applies from <strong>15\/09\/2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX%3A32023R1042&amp;qid=1685517927758\"><strong>EU Regulation 2023\/1042<\/strong><\/a><strong> :<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The MRL for <strong>folpet <\/strong>on lettuce has been raised from 0.3 mg\/kg to <strong>1.5 mg\/kg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulation applies from <strong>19\/06\/2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX%3A32023R1049&amp;qid=1685517927758\"><strong>EU Regulation 2023\/1049<\/strong><\/a><strong> :<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pendimethalin <\/strong>MRLs are increased for unshelled fresh beans (from 0.05 mg\/kg to <strong>0.06 mg\/kg<\/strong>), unshelled fresh peas (0.05 mg\/kg to <strong>0.09 mg\/kg<\/strong>), leeks (0.05 mg\/kg to <strong>0.3 mg\/kg<\/strong>) and chicory root (0.05 mg\/kg to <strong>0.2 mg\/kg<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MRLs for <strong>spirotetramat <\/strong>have been modified for <strong>herbs and edible flowers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They rise from 4 mg\/kg to <strong>7 mg\/kg <\/strong>for chervil, chives, celery leaves, parsley, basil and edible flowers and tarragon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They rise from 4 mg\/kg to <strong>10 mg\/kg <\/strong>for sage, rosemary, thyme, bay leaves and other herbs and edible flowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulation applies from <strong>20\/06\/2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Need technical, regulatory and pricing information?
