{"id":30205,"date":"2023-07-26T09:35:17","date_gmt":"2023-07-26T07:35:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/?p=30205"},"modified":"2023-10-02T09:36:01","modified_gmt":"2023-10-02T07:36:01","slug":"cadmium-changes-to-maximum-levels-for-certain-matrices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/en\/regulatory-watch\/cadmium-changes-to-maximum-levels-for-certain-matrices\/","title":{"rendered":"CADMIUM: Changes to maximum levels for certain matrices"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"hover_box\"><div class=\"hover_box_wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid visible_photo\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/souchet.png\" alt=\"CADMIUM: Changes to maximum levels for certain matrices\" width=\"\" height=\"\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid hidden_photo\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/actu_publication-rasff-2016_02.jpg\" alt=\"CADMIUM: Changes to maximum levels for certain matrices\" width=\"\" height=\"\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX%3A32023R1510&amp;qid=1690210075441\"><strong>Regulation 2023\/1510<\/strong><\/a> amending regulation 2023\/915 has just been published.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It modifies maximum <strong>cadmium <\/strong>levels for <strong>tiger nuts <\/strong>(souchet) and cultivated <strong>mushrooms, with the <\/strong>exception of <em>Agaricus bisporus <\/em>(button mushroom), oyster mushrooms and shiitakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maximum levels are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Radishes except tiger nuts: 0.020 mg\/kg<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tiger nuts: 0.10 mg\/kg<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cultivated mushrooms except <em>Agaricus bisporus <\/em>(button mushroom): 0.15 mg\/kg<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Agaricus bisporus <\/em>(Button mushroom): 0.050 mg\/kg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This regulation applies from <strong>10\/08\/2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phytocontrol laboratory offers cadmium analysis on foodstuffs of animal and plant origin, under COFRAC accreditation.
