It modifies the MRLs for <strong>nicotine <\/strong>in <strong>spices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Seed and fruit spices <\/u><\/strong>(<strong>vanilla<\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MRLs are currently set at <strong>0.3 mg\/kg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regulation 2023\/337, published in February 2023, lowered this MRL to <strong>0.02 mg\/kg on 14\/09\/23.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regulation 2023\/1536 provides for this MRL to be raised to <strong>0.05 mg\/kg by 15\/09\/23.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Cinnamon<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MRL is currently set at <strong>4 mg\/kg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regulation 2023\/337 will lower it to <strong>0.07 mg\/kg by 14\/09\/23.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regulation 2023\/1536 provides for an increase to <strong>0.2 mg\/kg by 15\/09\/23.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Teas<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Article 2 of this regulation states that for <strong>teas <\/strong>produced or imported into the EU before <strong>09\/14\/2023, <\/strong>the MRL of <strong>0.6 mg\/kg <\/strong>continues to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This regulation applies from <strong>15\/09\/2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phytocontrol laboratory offers pesticide residue analysis under COFRAC accreditation.
