{"id":31347,"date":"2024-02-15T15:45:00","date_gmt":"2024-02-15T14:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/?p=31347"},"modified":"2024-03-28T15:47:08","modified_gmt":"2024-03-28T14:47:08","slug":"changes-to-mrls-haloxyfop-and-nicotine-vanilla","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/en\/regulatory-watch\/changes-to-mrls-haloxyfop-and-nicotine-vanilla\/","title":{"rendered":"Changes to MRLs: haloxyfop and nicotine\/vanilla"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"hover_box\"><div class=\"hover_box_wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid visible_photo\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/actu_vanille-creme.jpg\" alt=\"Changes to MRLs: haloxyfop and nicotine\/vanilla\" width=\"\" height=\"\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid hidden_photo\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/actu_publication-rasff-2016_02.jpg\" alt=\"Changes to MRLs: haloxyfop and nicotine\/vanilla\" width=\"\" height=\"\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two new texts amending Regulation EC 396\/2005 have just been published in the OJEU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX%3A32024R0451&amp;qid=1707908012301\"><strong>EU Regulation 2024\/451<\/strong><\/a><strong>: Nicotine<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This regulation sets a common MRL for all spices at <strong>0.3 mg\/kg <\/strong>for <strong>nicotine <\/strong>residues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MRL for <strong>vanilla <\/strong>has therefore been reduced to 0.3 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulation applies from <strong>26\/02\/2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX%3A32024R0398&amp;qid=1707908012301\"><strong>EU Regulation 2024\/398<\/strong><\/a><strong>: Haloxyfop<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>MRLs will be lowered for carrots, tuberous parsley, leeks, dried beans, dried peas, sunflower seeds, rapeseed, sugar beet and milk. The MRL for milk will be reduced from 0.015 mg\/kg to <strong>0.002 mg\/kg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MRLs for <strong>linseed <\/strong>will be increased from 0.01 mg\/kg to <strong>0.05 mg\/kg <\/strong>following an application for an import tolerance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulation applies from <strong>19\/08\/2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phytocontrol laboratory offers pesticide residue analysis under accreditation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can consult our COFRAC technical appendix N\u00b01-1904 available in your customer area or on the COFRAC website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Need technical, regulatory or pricing information?
