{"id":391002,"date":"2024-07-17T10:56:38","date_gmt":"2024-07-17T08:56:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/?p=391002"},"modified":"2024-09-24T10:58:13","modified_gmt":"2024-09-24T08:58:13","slug":"nutritional-labeling-guide-for-wines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/en\/regulatory-watch\/nutritional-labeling-guide-for-wines\/","title":{"rendered":"Nutritional labeling guide for wines"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"hover_box\"><div class=\"hover_box_wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid visible_photo\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/actu-vin-expertise.jpg\" alt=\"Nutritional labeling guide for wines\" width=\"\" height=\"\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid hidden_photo\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/drapeau_france.jpg\" alt=\"Nutritional labeling guide for wines\" width=\"\" height=\"\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of June, the DGCCRF published <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/DGCCRF-etiquetage-vin-2024.pdf\">a guide to help professionals apply the new wine labeling rules<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since December 8, 2023, two new statements have been mandatory on the label of wines produced from this date: the list of ingredients and the nutritional declaration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This information can be dematerialized via QR code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This guide explains how to display :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>List of ingredients: order, terms used, additives and allergens.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nutritional declaration: mandatory elements (energy value and nutrients), their order of display, quantity and unit per 100mL.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dematerialization via QR code or similar device: mandatory information on the physical label (allergens and energy value), QR code format.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The guide gives an example of labeling a brut sparkling wine to illustrate these new rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also provides a table of average energy values for the wine sector and indications on nutrient quantities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your Phytocontrol laboratory can analyze nutritional values in wine and vine products.
