In addition, the Authority also concluded that there was a need for a more thorough scientific evaluation of the properties of chlorpropham that could disrupt the endocrine system and that the risk assessment for non-target arthropods in open field uses could not be completed.<\/p>\n<p>Member States must withdraw authorisations for plant protection products containing the active substance &#8216;chlorpropham&#8217; by 8 January 2020 at the latest.<\/p>\n<p>The period of grace granted by Member States for plant protection products containing chlorpropham shall expire on 8 October 2020 at the latest.<\/p>\n<p>At present, chlorpropham has authorisations in France for potatoes, onions and chicory root.<\/p>\n<p>The Regulation shall enter into force on 8 July 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Be aware that your Phytocontrol laboratory is able to look for chlorpropham in matrices of plant origin.<\/p>\n<p>Feel free to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/en\/contact-access\/\">contact us<\/a> for any technical, pricing and\/or regulatory information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; The EU Implementing Regulation No 2019\/989 has just been published in the OJEC concerning the non-renewal of the approval of the active substance chlorpropham.
