In an ever-changing regulatory environment, it is essential to be able to offer analytical solutions tailored to new practices and the needs of the agricultural sector.
To provide the best possible support to our clients, we are expanding our Pesticide Residues service with the addition of a new compound: Dimpropyridaz.
This new analysis is available with a limit of quantification of 0.01 mg/kg, for both simple and complex matrices.
Dimpropyridaz: a specific regulatory context
Dimpropyridaz is a compound for which authorisation is currently under review at European Union level (status: ‘pending’).
However, a temporary authorisation for use was granted in France from 24 February to 24 June for pome fruit, in particular apples and pears. This temporary authorisation was intended to meet crop protection needs in a specific context.
In this context, operators in the sector may need to check for the presence of this substance in their produce, whether to meet their customers’ requirements, anticipate regulatory changes or strengthen their quality management system.
A long-standing partner of the apple and pear sector
For many years, our laboratory has been supporting stakeholders in the pome fruit sector through a long-standing partnership with the ANPP (Association Nationale Pommes Poires).
As an ANPP-accredited analytical laboratory, we place our expertise at the service of its members to support them in their quality control, quality assurance and compliance procedures. This close relationship with industry professionals enables us to continually develop our analytical services to address the sector’s practical challenges.
