Focus on the Legionella

On hot sanitary waters and air-cooled cooling towers, legionella is a major issue for the control of the sanitary risk. Among the legionella species, Legionella pneumophila is the main point of vigilance in view of its dangerousness in the event of inhalation. Phytocontrol is developing a reactive seeding and filtration method (specific regulation NFT 90 431) for the analysis of Legionella spp and Legionella pneumophila, with results within 10 to 12 days.
