Glufosinate is an active substance that was included in the list of active ingredients approved in Europe on 1 October 2007 and whose approval expires on 31 July 2018.
It is therefore an active substance that is not authorised in Europe but whose use is still approved in many third countries.
Regulation (EU) 396/2005 and its successive amendments set Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) in various foodstuffs.
